Episode Timeline
Last week a friend of mine sent me a message. It said that they were going to be leaving the country for a while. When I looked at it l was saddened. That someone I care about was leaving the country for several months. The good thing is that they are getting to live their dream! They have been blessed enough that they can live their dream.
They made preparation enough that they can live their dreams. And that's what we need to do. We need to make preparations in our life that we can live our dreams. We must make preparations in our life that God will bless us to live a happy life. That doesn't mean that we won't have difficult times. Difficult times that sometime go past the day turn into weeks months and possibly years. But we must make preparation to continue to receive God's love and his Blessing, that one day it will be all right again.
The way we make preparation to continue to receive God's love and blessings, even though they're difficult times! The way we make preparation is to continue to walk in the light of God's love. And we walk in the light of God's love by obeying his laws part of that is the Commandments. Along with reading the scriptures and finding out what he says about walking with God and Jesus in the scriptures. We make preparation to receive God's love and blessing, also when in difficult times we keep the faith, and we keep trying.
In regards to my friend going away for a while. I thought about the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" . I also think it is a very good movie. I was thinking about the part of the movie where Morgan Freeman's character "Red" reminisces about his friend Andy Dufresne played by (Tim Robbins). Here is the quote from the scene.
"Sometimes it makes me sad, though... Andy being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend."
So, you may be wondering what's that got to do making preparation,? So I'll tell you. What we need to do is make preparations within ourselves to "Love Enough". I'll say that again to "Love Enough". That when a friend or someone else in your life leaves you for a little bit for a long while. That you miss them not because they were doing things for you. But because you had the love for them that is spoke about in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 the chapter on love. If we made preparation to love and love the way of God way. Most of our problems and the problems in the world would disappear. Even though because we live in a world that is sinful we would have some difficult days!
Now, I know it may seem strange me saying make preparation to love and to live. But in order to love and live the way you should. You have to prepare yourself to. And that my friends is making preparation. Which brings up final point today. This week and moving forward, daily make preparations and follow through on them. To live and to love the way you're supposed to. To love God the way you are supposed to. If you do that then when the time comes you will be prepared to live the life that God wants you to live!
As always take care of yourself. Take care of and look out for others. For that is truly the way of the love of and the will of God!
Thank you for taking the time to read "the word for today"
In the love of and the spirit of the Father the Son and HolySpirit I love you all.
